EVERMORE Midwifery & HEAlTH ANDREA RUGG, cNm
Hi there, I’m Angela!
I work closely with home birth midwives to help their clients with insurance-related needs specifically verifying out-of-network benefits and creating itemized superbills.
If you’re a client of Andrea Rugg, CNM at Evermore Midwifery & Health (who is out-of-network with all insurance plans), I can:
Verify your insurance to see if you have out-of-network benefits for midwifery services
Create an itemized superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, your itemized statement may help you receive reimbursement or apply toward your deductible, coinsurance, or out-of-pocket maximum.
Unfortunately, HMO and Medicaid plans don’t cover out-of-network providers, so they won’t accept itemized statements.
PLEASE NOTE: I am separate from Evermore Midwifery & Health and have my own fees which are required prior to rendering services. Payment methods accepted: Zelle, Paypal, and Venmo.
✔ Verification of Benefits – $40
I call your insurance company and ask the right questions to get detailed info on your home birth benefits with Andrea Rugg, CNM. I’ll then send you a clear summary of your coverage.
✔ Itemized Superbill – $125
A detailed statement including CPT and diagnosis codes, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement or to apply toward your benefits.
You will still owe your midwife her full fee. After you submit an itemized statement, your insurance should process the services towards meeting any out of network deductible, coinsurance, and out of pocket max you may have. When your deductible is met in full, the coinsurance kicks in and your insurance then pays a percentage of your care. Please read my blog: What is an out of network deductible? on how insurance companies process out of network claims and the difference between what your midwife fees are and the allowed amount that your insurance company reimburses.
